Spirit West United Church
This website needed a makeover. It was dark and dreary, and used different neon colours for the titles of the posts on the home page.
The church had the “Alive with the Spirit” logo developed in the 80s, and I had to have it as a focal point on the updated website.
I took the background photo myself with my smartphone, and then increased the contrast and saturation in Photoshop.
Below the fold is an off-white container overlaying the background image. Since this website was for a church, I felt a contrasting layout container that resembled bible paper would give it a harmonious feeling.
